Join us for a monthly art group celebrating friendship, play, reflection, and creativity! The month of April, we will do some "knolling," the meditative practice of arranging small brought & shared objects in an aesthetically pleasing way and capturing the results via photographs.

Join us this month for an exploration into the relaxing, creative practice of "knolling."

First used in the late 1980's as a term to describe placing objects at 90° angles to one another, knolling has become a trend and term meaning to arrange objects in an aesthetically pleasing way. These objects may be linked by color, shape, size, purpose, etc. and usually are photographed from directly overhead.
This practice is meditative in essence, arranging and rearranging until the composition feels "complete". Come listen to soothing music and create order out of chaos with us!
We will complete three separate knolling sessions to be photographed at the end of each round. This way, three completely unique compositions can be made by each person. Begin with the items you brought, then trade out with another person's items, or simply rearrange your own objects…
